After 36 years in banking—spent making the capitalist system work, untangling truth from falsehoods, discerning reality through appearances, continuing to believe that two plus two equals four, and trying to understand humanity's love-hate relationship with money—Eloi has entered retirement without being fully convinced of success in these pursuits.
Now, he dedicates part of his time to exploring the humanitarian field. With no prior experience or preconceptions, he is discovering an ecosystem unlike anything he has known.
He approaches this journey with caution, humility, and honesty.
His actions may not change the world or make it a better place, but perhaps they may help some of his fellow human beings find life a bit less challenging.
